The Dream Me

So perhaps childhood dreams have innocent verity to who we become somehow. Or it may not be for all, but it feels so for this one.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

The pope, an archeologist, a painter and writer…

that’s little me.

How many times do we introduce ourselves to the world?

Have we even met our whole selves to be able to introduce “me” to others?

Sometimes I wish to answer, “Hi, my name is Paola Monique Tonelete and I am a paradox.” That is as accurate as I can get.

I meet myself day by day: sensitive, loving, lazy, powerful, optimistic… until I have found three pillars for the mean time:

nurturer, voyager, & creative.

That will be most of me for now at 30.

The Pope became a Nurturer:

The anthropologist to a Voyager:

And the painter & writer is the Creative.
